Music Ministry
Our music ministry at LSCC has been blessed by God with several incredible vocalists and musicians. The music ministry at LSCC presents an opportunity for people to use their talents and gifts in ministry.

We feature a worship band that rehearses every Thursday evening (everyone’s invited to come and learn/observe) and plays for all the services at LSCC. The Praise Team uses a contemporary sound to communicate the timeless truths of the gospel. From light rock to the occasional traditional hymn, their desire is to lead people to worship Jesus. 

The LSCC music ministry also presents a special Christmas musical every year. The worship teams and band are by audition only; however the Christmas Musical is open to all musicians. Rehearsal for the Christmas musical begins in late August and goes through the mid December performances.

Multi Media Ministry
The multi media ministry is the foundation for the music ministry. Without our tech team LSCC would grind to a screeching halt. We are involved in every aspect of ministry at LSCC from providing a sound tech for weddings, to providing recorded copies of the sermons every week.

The head of our tech crew is Greg Lacefield. Greg heads up the sound, video, lighting, and recording ministries as well as providing creative input on the programming team. Terry Prether is the leader of the sound ministry and is responsible for training and recruiting sound technicians for not only Sunday morning services but all activities at LSCC that require a sound technician. Sunday morning services alone require 2 technicians and one trainee.  

Our video/visual ministry is led by Dan Wilton. The video ministry not only films, edits, and produces video of LSCC activities, special events, and other LSCC functions but they also produce videos for use during the worship services and other activities at LSCC. In addition to video tapes, the video ministry encompasses photos, editing movies, and a quickly growing video library filled with instructional DVDs, tapes and movies.
