Men’s Ministry
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17)
Purpose: to provide opportunities for men to grow in their faith as they develop mutually edifying relationships with one another.
Program: the programs provided for men are as follows:

Men’s Fraternity is a DVD series of lectures by Dr. Robert M. Lewis followed by small groups discussion over the material that is shared. There are three separate curriculums lasting roughly 6 months, offered in September of each year, for a three-year cycle. They are:

Men’s Fraternity 1: The Quest for Authentic Manhood. This focuses on the core identity of a man by addressing the wounds of the past.

Men’s Fraternity 2: A Man at Work and at Home. This focuses on a man’s responsibilities, showing him how to enjoy work and relate to a woman.

Men’s Fraternity 3: The Great Adventure. This focuses on a man’s destiny, helping him understand his design and finding focus in his life.

Special Events will be scheduled periodically throughout the year. These will be events such as the Dad-n-Me Kamp-Out, Laser Tag, and other outings that bring a father and his children together for fun and bonding. Be sure to watch the Sunday morning bulletin and this page for upcoming events.

Men’s Retreat is tentatively scheduled for Spring 2006 at Black Lake Christian Camp and Conference Center in Olympia. Keep watch over the announcements in the Sunday morning bulletin and this page for upcoming events.
